The Alpha air trap plug seals the air trap/vent point on the boiler's hydraulic circuit. It is a genuine Alpha part, number 1.021892.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water, gas or condensate weeping from the joint the gasket seals
- The gasket is visibly perished, flattened, cracked or has hardened with age
- The boiler fails a tightness or leak check at the joint
