What it is

The Alpha 1.019744 is a silicone tube measuring 14 mm x 10 mm, used on Alpha CD range gas boilers. Silicone tubing of this type is fitted where a flexible, heat-resistant connection is needed between components inside the appliance. It forms part of the boiler's internal pipework and is listed under gas boiler spares.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The tube has hardened, cracked or become brittle with heat ageing
  • Visible splits, perishing or surface crazing along the tube
  • Discolouration or flattening where the tube has collapsed
  • Weeping or a damp trace at the tube connection points
  • The tube has come loose or no longer seals at its fittings

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
  • Check the existing tube's internal and external diameters match 14 mm x 10 mm
  • Verify the part number 1.019744 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
  • Inspect any associated clips or fittings at the same time, as these are not supplied with the tube
