Alpha Adhesive Foam Strip 1.019721

The Alpha Adhesive Foam Strip is a self-adhesive sealing strip measuring 10mm in diameter and 1.5mm thick. It is used on Alpha CD and Commercial PRO TEC appliance families to seal joints and mating surfaces against air, heat and flue gas leakage. The strip is supplied on a roll for cutting to the required length on site.

• The foam has perished, crumbled or flattened and no longer fills the joint gap
• The adhesive backing has failed and the strip has detached from the sealing face
• Visible gaps, staining or tracking around a joint that the strip seals
• Draughts, heat loss or condensation appearing at a previously sealed joint
• The strip has hardened or cracked after long service at elevated temperature

• Confirm the existing strip measures 10mm diameter x 1.5mm thick, as other sizes are used elsewhere on these appliances
• Check your appliance model against the fitment list above before ordering
• Measure the total length of strip required, as the roll is cut to size on site
• Inspect the sealing face for corrosion or old adhesive that must be cleaned off before fitting
