What it is

The Alpha 1.016673 is an 18 mm diameter gas connection pipe assembly used on Alpha gas boilers. It forms part of the appliance's internal gas pipework, feeding the gas inlet, and is supplied with a seal kit. The assembly supersedes the earlier code 6.5628520A.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible corrosion, pitting or staining on the pipe surface
  • A gas smell or a detected leak at the pipe joints
  • Weeping or dampness around the connection
  • Pipe kinked, distorted or damaged during service work
  • Joints that will not seal cleanly after reassembly

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model and GC number against the fitment list above
  • Check the existing pipe diameter and connection size on the appliance
  • Check whether the supplied seal kit suits your installation
  • Isolate the gas supply and confirm the appliance is safe to work on
