What it is
The Alpha 1.016053 is a cylinder temperature sensor (thermistor) used on Alpha Solarsmart 100 cylinders and Alpha Wall Hung Flowsmart 50 appliances. It monitors the stored water temperature and feeds that reading back to the appliance controls. This is a service component for the Alpha cylinder and wall hung ranges.
