What it is

The Alpha DHW outlet pipe (part 1.015648) is a 14mm diameter pipe that connects the domestic hot water heat exchanger to the hot water outlet on Alpha CB24X and CB28X LPG boilers. It forms part of the domestic hot water circuit, carrying heated water away from the heat exchanger towards the outlet.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible weeping or water tracking at the pipe connections
  • Corrosion, pitting or scale build-up on the pipe surface
  • Reduced hot water flow or intermittent hot water delivery
  • Water staining or damp around the heat exchanger or outlet area
  • Joint seals that will not seal after re-making

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model is an Alpha CB24X or CB28X (LPG)
  • Check the existing pipe diameter and connection type match 14mm
  • Inspect the seals and washers at both ends, as these may need replacing at the same time
  • Isolate the water supply and depressurise the boiler before starting work
