What it is

The Alpha 1.014732 is an insulation panel for the combustion chamber, supplied as a fibre panel cover. It fits a range of Alpha CD series gas boilers, where it sits as the front insulation panel around the combustion chamber. Its function is to retain heat within the combustion chamber and protect surrounding casing components from sustained high temperatures.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible cracking, crumbling or delamination of the fibre panel
  • Heat discolouration or scorching beyond normal service wear
  • Panel material breaking away or dropping into the combustion chamber
  • Combustion readings drifting outside the expected range
  • Casing or surrounding components showing heat damage

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
  • Check the existing panel position and condition before removal
  • Verify the part number 1.014732 matches the panel being replaced
  • Handle the new panel carefully, as fibre insulation is fragile
