What it is
The Alpha room sealed chamber seal is a replacement gasket that sits between the combustion chamber cover and the boiler casing on Alpha room sealed appliances. It forms the gas-tight joint that keeps products of combustion inside the combustion circuit and out of the room the boiler is installed in. The seal is listed under Alpha's gaskets, seals and washers range and is used across the Alpha C and CB appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The seal is visibly flattened, hardened or perished when the chamber cover is removed for servicing.
- Cracks, splits or crumbling material along the sealing face.
- Soot staining or discolouration around the chamber cover joint, suggesting leakage past the seal.
- A smell of combustion products near the appliance, or combustion readings that drift after the cover has been refitted.
- The seal has been compressed and does not recover its shape, so the cover cannot be pulled down evenly.

- Check the GC number and appliance serial plate against the compatibility list to confirm the seal suits your model.
- Compare the numbers on the old seal with 1.013154, 1250063, 1.031569 and 6.5404690 before ordering.
- If other gaskets on the combustion circuit are disturbed during the same job, check whether a seal kit is a better option.
