What it is
The Alpha 1.010771 is an automatic air vent rated to 10 bar, used to release trapped air from the heating circuit automatically. It is fitted across a number of Alpha gas boiler families, including the CB, CD and SY ranges. The vent discharges air that would otherwise collect at the high point of the appliance, helping to keep circulation and pressure stable.

- Boiler pressure dropping repeatedly with no visible leak elsewhere
- Gurgling, bubbling or rushing noises from the appliance or pipework
