Ideal Blank Flange 40Nb Table E 099967

The Ideal 099967 is a 40Nb Table E blank flange, a solid flanged disc used to close off a pipe connection where no pipework is taken off. It is supplied by Ideal for use on Ideal Commercial appliances, and the flange is listed under the Caradon manufacture reference. Its job is to seal a flanged branch on the appliance so the connection remains pressure-tight and no water or flue path escapes through an unused port.

• Visible weeping or a steady drip from the flange face or its bolt circle
• Rust staining, scale tracking or water marks running down from the joint
• Corrosion pitting or thinning across the flange face, particularly around the bolt holes
• A joint that will not pull down tight, or bolts that keep losing torque
• Distortion or cracking of the flange body after repeated heating and cooling cycles
