What it is
The Vaillant 090709 is an ignition electrode, classed in the combustion and exhaust group of boiler spares. It forms part of the ignition circuit on Vaillant gas appliances, where it provides the spark that lights the gas and air mixture during a start-up sequence. The electrode is supplied as a single unit.

- A cracked, crazed or discoloured ceramic insulator on the electrode body
