What it is
The Randall HP22 is a 2-port motorised zone valve with 22mm connections, manufactured by Danfoss. It controls water flow to a single heating circuit, opening and closing under the control of the HPA2 actuator to zone the system. It is supplied complete with the HPA2 actuator.
Before you order
- Confirm the pipework is 22mm at the valve position.
- Check whether the existing installation uses a 2-port configuration, as the flow path differs from mid-position and 3-port valves.
- Confirm the actuator fitted to the existing valve body is an HPA2 type.
- Check there is sufficient clearance around the pipework for the valve body and actuator.
