The Danfoss HPA2 is a 2-port valve actuator from the H Series range of motorised valves. It drives the valve body to open and close, regulating flow through hot and cold water systems and central heating circuits in both residential and commercial buildings. The actuator mounts directly onto the valve body, so the head can be replaced without disturbing the pipework.

• The zone does not heat or the valve fails to open when the thermostat calls for heat
• The actuator motor runs but the valve spindle does not move, so flow is never established
• The valve stays open when it should be closed, causing overheating or unwanted circulation
• The manual lever no longer latches or does not spring back to its rest position
• The actuator head is noisy, buzzing or visibly damaged

• Confirm the valve body is a Danfoss H Series 2-port unit and that the existing actuator carries the same part number
• Check the valve body and actuator markings before ordering, as the head is matched to the body configuration
• Inspect the valve body seating and any seal or gasket when the head is removed, and replace if worn
