Ideal Expansion Rubber Seal 9mm Grada 515 084800

The Ideal 084800 is a 9mm expansion silicon rubber seal from the Ideal spares range. It is a moulded silicone rubber component that forms a watertight joint at the expansion assembly on Ideal Grada 515 and Concord CXC commercial appliances. Silicone rubber is chosen for this position because it holds its shape across the temperature swings a commercial heating system sees in normal service.

• Water weeping or a visible drip at the expansion connection
• The seal feels hard, flattened or shows cracking when removed
• Scale or corrosion staining around the joint face
• System pressure falls without an obvious leak elsewhere on the appliance
• The joint has been disturbed during another repair and the old seal will not reseat cleanly
