What it is
The Drayton RT212 is a thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) supplied by Drayton Controls with a 15mm angled body and a lockshield valve. It controls the flow of water through a radiator to regulate room temperature, with the lockshield used on the return to balance the system. This pack covers the valve end of the radiator, giving a matched pair for a single emitter.
Before you order
- Confirm the pipework is 15mm and that an angled body suits the approach to the radiator.
- Check whether the existing lockshield is being replaced at the same time; this pack includes one.
- Verify the radiator take-off positions so the valve head sits clear of the wall, shelf or pipework.
- Check the system is being balanced after fitting, as the lockshield setting affects flow through the radiator.
