The Ideal 079356 is a pilot burner assembly supplied under the Honeywell Q349A-1067 reference. It forms the standing pilot on Ideal Mexico 2 Bed Super and Mexico 3 Super gas appliances, where it provides the small permanent flame that lights the main burner on demand. The assembly is a serviceable ignition component, so it is replaced as a complete unit rather than rebuilt on site.

• The pilot flame fails to light, or lights and then extinguishes shortly after the button or ignition sequence is released.
• The boiler repeatedly locks out with no pilot flame visible through the sight glass.
• The pilot flame is weak, yellow or lifting away from the burner head instead of forming a steady blue flame.
• Soot or discolouration builds up around the pilot head, or the flame is visibly distorted.
• The pilot will not stay lit long enough for the main burner to prove and fire.
