What it is
The Vaillant 077109 flue cap, supplied complete, is a flue component for the Vaillant MAG 9/1 OZ appliance. The cap terminates the flue outlet, closing off the flue assembly at the appliance.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, cracking or distortion of the cap body
- The cap no longer sits correctly or securely on the flue outlet
- Sooting, staining or condensate marks around the flue terminal area
- Evidence of flue gas spillage or deteriorating combustion readings traced to the terminal
Before you order
- Check the appliance model and age against the fitment listed above
- Confirm the existing cap is the correct component for the flue outlet on your appliance
- Check the condition of the surrounding flue sections, as a damaged cap often accompanies other flue defects
- Confirm the part number 077109 on the existing component or in the appliance documentation
