The Ideal 075213 is a SIT gas valve assembly used on Ideal and Henrad domestic gas boilers. It sits on the gas train and regulates the flow of gas to the burner, working with the boiler's ignition and modulation controls to hold a stable flame across the firing range. It is the valve fitted to the Henrad CC and Ideal Response ranges listed below.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to light and goes to lockout on a call for heat
- The burner lights but the flame drops out shortly afterwards
- Flame is weak, unstable or will not modulate through the range
- Repeated lockout that clears on reset and returns on the next demand
- No gas is passed to the burner despite the fan and ignition sequence running
