Danfoss Fuel Pump BFP11-R3 Diamond 071N7155

The Danfoss BFP11-R3 Diamond is a single-stage fuel pump built for pressure-jet oil burners. It draws kerosene or light oil from the storage tank, passes it through an internal ring filter and delivers it to the nozzle at a controlled pressure. The unit runs right-hand rotation on an 8 mm shaft, with a factory pressure setting of 10 bar and a flow rate of 24 l/hr.

• The burner locks out on start-up and repeated reset attempts do not clear the fault.
• No oil reaches the nozzle, or the flame is weak and unstable once it does light.
• Pump pressure drifts or cannot be set to the required figure on the pressure gauge.
• Oil weeps from the shaft seal or around the pump body.
• The pump runs noisily, or the motor draws uneven current as the pump turns.

• Confirm the existing pump is a BFP11-R3 and that the previous number 071N0143 is the unit being replaced.
• Check rotation direction, shaft diameter and nozzle outlet side against the pump being removed, as these vary across the BFP range.
• Verify the coil voltage on the appliance is 220-240 V before fitting.
• Have a suitable pump gasket or seal to hand if the joint face is disturbed during removal.
