What it is

The Vokera 0714 is a diaphragm flow switch used in the diverter valve assembly of Vokera Maxin boilers. It responds to water flow through the domestic hot water circuit, signalling the boiler to fire when a hot tap is opened. The diaphragm is the flexible element that moves with flow and returns to rest when demand stops.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • No hot water when a tap is opened, with the boiler failing to fire on DHW demand
  • Intermittent or fluctuating domestic hot water as flow is not detected reliably
  • Boiler firing on DHW when no tap is running, or failing to shut down after demand ends
  • Visible perishing, hardening, splitting or distortion of the diaphragm
  • Water weeping from the diverter valve area around the flow switch
