What it is
This is a Drayton Controls TRV4 Classic head, supplied together with a 15mm angle valve and a lockshield. The head is the thermostatic control element that regulates flow through the valve body according to the set temperature, while the angle valve body provides the swept connection for the radiator pipework. The lockshield valve is included for balancing the circuit on the return side.
Before you order
- Confirm the pipework is 15mm and that an angle-pattern valve body suits the run to the radiator.
- Check whether the installation requires a lockshield on the return, as one is included in this set.
- If replacing a head only, confirm the existing valve body is a TRV4 Classic type before ordering.
- Have the manufacturer part number 07 05 180 to hand when checking against the existing valve.
