Ideal Metal Brush 60 x 95mm 067799

The Ideal 067799 is a metal brush measuring 60 x 95mm, supplied as a service aid for Ideal Commercial appliances. It is used during servicing and cleaning routines on the Harrier GT and GTE range, where a stiff metal brush is needed to clear deposits from heat exchanger surfaces and flueways. The brush forms part of the standard service tooling for these commercial units rather than being a combustion or gas-carrying component.

• Bristles are splayed, flattened or missing, so flueway deposits are no longer lifted cleanly
• The brush no longer reaches the full depth of the heat exchanger passages it is intended to sweep
• Combustion readings stay out of tolerance after servicing because surfaces remain fouled
• Soot or scale is being pushed around rather than removed during the clean
• The handle or backing has cracked or deformed, making the brush unsafe to use under load

• Confirm the appliance model against the compatibility list, as the Harrier GT and GTE variants differ
• Check the existing brush dimensions and compare against the 60 x 95mm size quoted here
