The Vaillant 062210 is a complete tie rod, used as a holding bar to clamp the heat exchanger sections of the appliance together. It is listed by Vaillant for the VK 41/1 E and VKS 41/1 E boiler families. The rod passes through the section assembly and holds the cast sections under tension so the joints between them remain sealed.
