What it is
The Vaillant 061707 is an automatic de-aerator (auto air vent) used across a range of Vaillant combi and conventional flue boilers, including Combi Compact, Ecomax, Turbomax and Thermocompact models. It continuously vents trapped air from the heating circuit, helping to prevent airlocks, circulation noise and pressure instability. This part supersedes the earlier code 061710.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Persistent gurgling or air noise from the boiler or pipework
- Radiators that need bleeding frequently
- Boiler pressure that drops or fluctuates without a visible leak
- Water weeping or dripping from the de-aerator body
- Cold spots or poor circulation at radiators
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and GC number against the fitment list above.
- Check the part number on the existing de-aerator before ordering.
- If the old component is marked 061710, the 061707 supersedes it.
