What it is
The Caleffi 311460 is a pressure relief valve from the Series 311 range, factory set to open at 6 bar. It has a 1/2" FBSP inlet and a 1/2" FBSP outlet, and relieves excess pressure from a system by discharging water once the set pressure is reached. It is listed in the pressure relief valve and PTRV category.
Before you order
- Confirm that 6 bar is the set pressure specified for the installation, as the Series 311 range covers other ratings under separate part numbers.
- Check both the inlet and outlet tappings on the installation are 1/2" FBSP before ordering.
- Verify the valve being removed matches the connection sizes and set pressure above, so the new unit can be fitted without adaptors.
