What it is

The Vaillant 060018 is a screw supplied by Vaillant for use in its gas boilers and gas water heaters. It sits within the manufacturer's screws, nuts, bolts and clips group of gas boiler spares. It is a fixing component used during assembly and servicing of the appliances listed below.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The screw is missing from the appliance after a service or strip-down.
  • The head is rounded or chewed, so the screw can no longer be driven or removed cleanly.
  • The thread is stripped, cross-threaded or will not hold torque.
  • The screw is corroded, seized or has snapped in place.
  • The fixing no longer clamps the component it secures.

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and, where available, the GC number against the fitment list.
  • Check the manufacturer's parts list for the exact fixing position, as more than one screw size may be used on the same appliance.
  • Compare the old screw's head type, thread and length before ordering if it is still available for reference.
