What it is

The Ideal 058579 is a fan assembly used on Ideal Commercial Concord Super Series 3 boilers. It draws fresh air into the combustion chamber so the gas can burn correctly, then extracts the flue gases produced by combustion once the cycle is complete. The boiler monitors combustion through its safety parameters, so a fan that is failing to move air correctly will affect ignition and running.
