What it is
The Valor 0579139 is a back brick for Valor Blenheim, Camden and Genesis gas fires. It forms the rear lining of the firebox, sitting behind the burner and fuel bed to protect the appliance casing from heat and to complete the internal fire chamber. It is supplied as a single brick under Valor part number 0579139.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Valor Blenheim, Camden or Genesis model before ordering.
- Check the existing back brick for cracks, crumbling or spalling, as a damaged rear lining can affect combustion and flue performance.
- Verify the part number 0579139 against any markings on the old brick or the appliance data badge where accessible.
- Inspect the firebox for debris or damaged fixings before fitting the new brick, and reseal or refix as required by the appliance instructions.
