Ideal End Cap 1 1/2 Inch Tapped 055099

The Ideal 055099 is a threaded end cap with a tapped 1/8 inch BSP port, used to close a 1 1/2 inch BSP connection on Ideal Commercial boiler assemblies. It sits within the caps, plugs and sockets group of Ideal Commercial Boiler Spares and is specified across the Concord Super range. The tapped port lets a sensor, drain point or plug be fitted at the same location instead of blanking the connection entirely.

• Weeping or visible water tracking around the cap thread or the tapped port
• Corrosion or pitting on the cap body, particularly where it meets the casting
• Damaged or flattened threads that will not seal against the mating connection
• A plug or fitting in the tapped port that will not tighten or hold pressure
• Scale build-up around the joint after repeated drain-down and refill

• Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the compatibility list before ordering
