What it is
The Baxi control knob assembly, part 043115, is a replacement control knob for Baxi Bermuda back boiler appliances. It mounts on one of the spindles on the front of the appliance and allows the user to operate the boiler by hand. Depending on the model, the knob either adjusts the temperature or selects the current function, so hot water can be produced with the central heating off, and vice versa.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The knob turns freely but the setting does not change
- Cracks or splits in the knob body
- Worn splines or a rounded internal bore, so the knob no longer grips the spindle
- The knob has come loose or detached from the spindle
- Stiff, gritty or jammed movement when adjusting the setting
