Baxi Radiant Convector 4 Radiant 042708

The Baxi radiant convector 042708 is a radiant assembly that sits above the burner in a Baxi fire. Once the burner is lit, the radiants absorb heat and radiate it into the room, so the fire heats the surrounding area rather than losing the output up the flue. It is a combustion and exhaust component used across the Baxi Bermuda back boiler range and related fire fronts.

• Radiants visibly cracked, chipped or broken when the fire front is removed
• Uneven glow across the radiant bed, with one or more panels staying dark
• Deteriorating flame picture or a fire that no longer heats the room as it should
• Soot or carbon build-up on the radiants or the surrounding fire box
• Radiants that have crumbled or distorted after long service

• Check the appliance GC number and model against the compatibility list, as the same fire front can be built on different Bermuda units
• Confirm the number on the old radiant against 042708, and against the earlier numbers 043124 and T200 if the appliance has been serviced over a long period
• Inspect the burner and fire box at the same time, since radiants are usually replaced as part of a combustion check
