What it is
A 90° flue elbow manufactured by Ferroli for use on 60/100mm concentric flue systems. It changes the direction of the flue run by 90 degrees, allowing the air intake and flue gas path to be routed around obstructions or through a wall at the required angle. It is supplied as a Ferroli accessory for the Modena, Domicondens and Optimax HE appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, distortion or heat damage to the elbow body
- Condensate weeping or staining at the elbow joint or seals
- Flue gas leakage detected around the elbow during combustion analysis
- The elbow no longer seats correctly or the flue run has been disturbed
- Boiler lockout or flue-related fault codes traced to the flue path
