What it is

The Vokera 0219 is the shuttle used in the 3 port valve assembly on a range of Vokera gas boilers. It sits inside the valve body and moves to direct water between the heating circuit and the hot water circuit. It is a serviceable component, so it can be renewed without replacing the complete valve assembly.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Heating runs when only hot water is called for, or hot water runs when only heating is called for
  • No hot water while the heating circuit continues to work, or the reverse
  • The valve body is sluggish or fails to change position between heating and hot water modes
  • Water passes through the valve in both directions at once, giving poor temperature control
  • The shuttle is visibly worn, scored or seized when the valve is stripped down
