What it is
The Vaillant 014676 is a complete non-return valve used in the hydraulic circuit of Vaillant gas boilers. It prevents reverse flow through the water path, keeping flow direction correct within the appliance. It is supplied as a complete assembly rather than a bare valve body.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water flowing the wrong way through the circuit, causing heating water to migrate into the domestic hot water side
- Persistent pressure or flow faults that trace back to the non-return valve
- The valve sticking open, so it no longer seals against backflow
- Water weeping from the valve body or its connections
- Scale or debris build-up inside the valve restricting flow
