Ideal Burner Top Plate Gasket 013760

The Ideal 013760 is a burner top plate gasket supplied by Ideal for use in its commercial boiler range. It sits between the burner top plate and the mating face of the appliance, sealing the joint so that combustion gases stay on the correct side of the plate and the burner assembly continues to run as designed. It is a service item, so it is normally renewed whenever the top plate is disturbed during strip-down or burner work.

• Water or combustion residue tracking from the joint around the burner top plate.
• The gasket is visibly flattened, hardened or cracked when the plate is lifted.
• Staining or corrosion on the plate face where the seal has been breaking down.
• Combustion readings that drift from the figures recorded at the last service.
• The gasket tears or delaminates as the top plate is separated.

• Check the appliance GC number against 41-415-68 or 41-415-69, and confirm the model in the compatibility list.
• Cross-check the part number on the old gasket or the appliance data plate before ordering.
• Inspect the top plate face and fixings while the joint is open, as a distorted plate will not seal with a new gasket alone.
• This part is fitted to a gas appliance; installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
