What it is
The Ideal 013241 is a replacement control knob for the thermostat on Ideal commercial boilers. It fits the Concord CX range and mounts on the thermostat spindle, allowing the flow temperature to be set and adjusted from the appliance front panel. The knob is supplied as an individual spare under the Ideal Spares brand.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The knob turns freely on the thermostat spindle without altering the temperature setting.
- Cracks, splits or distortion in the plastic body, or the knob working loose from the spindle.
- The knob has detached from the boiler front panel.
- Temperature markings are worn or illegible, so settings cannot be read accurately.
- The appliance runs at a fixed temperature regardless of where the knob is positioned.
