What it is
The Vaillant 011597 is a condensing pipe assembly used in the condensate path of Vaillant appliances. It forms part of the condensate trap arrangement, carrying condensate away from the heat exchanger and flue system. It is listed by the manufacturer as a complete pipe (CPL.).
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water or condensate leaking from the pipe or its joints
- Visible cracking, splitting or deformation of the pipe
- Scale, sludge or debris build-up restricting condensate flow
- Corrosion or deterioration of the pipe material
- Boiler locking out or faulting due to a blocked or leaking condensate path
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the existing pipe and trap for damage, blockage or incorrect routing
- Verify the part number 011597 against the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance
- Inspect the condensate trap body and seals at the same time, as faults often occur together
