What it is

The Vaillant 011546 is a condensing pipe assembly used within the condensate trap arrangement of Vaillant gas boilers. It carries condensate away from the heat exchanger and flue path towards the trap and drainage point. The part is listed by Vaillant as a complete condensing pipe (CPL.).

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water or condensate leaking from the pipe or its joints
  • Visible cracking, splitting or deformation of the pipe
  • Blockage or restricted flow causing condensate to back up in the trap
  • Discolouration or scale build-up inside the pipe restricting drainage
  • Boiler locking out or reporting a condensate-related fault

Before you order

  • Confirm the boiler model and GC number against the appliance data badge
  • Check the existing condensing pipe for damage or blockage before removal
  • Verify the pipe routing and connection points match the part being replaced
  • Isolate the boiler and drain the condensate trap before starting work
