What it is
The Charnwood 011/BV28S is a set of three fire bricks manufactured by Charnwood for use in its solid fuel stoves. Fire bricks line the inside of the firebox, insulating the stove body from the heat of the fire and protecting it from direct flame contact. The bricks are a service item and are supplied as a set of three under part number 011/BV28S.
Before you order
- Check the part number 011/BV28S against your stove's manual or the markings on the existing bricks before ordering.
- Confirm how many bricks your firebox requires, as this set contains three.
- Inspect the existing bricks for cracks, crumbling edges or heavy sooting, and replace any that have broken down.
- Allow for the stove being out of use while the bricks are fitted and the firebox is reassembled.
