What it is
The Ideal 002997 is a union elbow with 1 1/2 inch female-female connections, produced by Ideal for its commercial Concord appliance family. It provides a demountable 90-degree change of direction in the pipework of Concord 400 Series 4 and Concord CXi commercial boilers. The union nut lets the joint be broken for servicing or component replacement without disturbing the surrounding pipe run.
