What it is
This is a Vaillant retaining clip supplied in a pack of five, part number 0020273318. It is used on Arotherm and Arotherm PLUS air source heat pump units, where clips of this type secure pipework, insulation or panel components in position. The clip is a small consumable item, so it is worth holding a pack for servicing and repair work.
Signs this part needs replacing
- A clip has snapped or lost its retaining tension
- Pipework, insulation or a panel is loose where it should be clipped
- The clip has deformed or hardened with heat and no longer grips
- A clip is missing after service or repair work and the component it held is free to move
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and variant against the fit list above
- Check the quantity required, as clips are often used in multiples
- Inspect the surrounding pipework or panel for damage that may have caused the clip to fail
