What it is

The Vaillant 0020272056 is a seal kit supplied for the ecoTEC VU range of gas boilers. It provides the sealing components required when a joint or connection on these appliances is opened and reassembled. The kit is listed under O-rings, washers and gaskets within Vaillant gas boiler spares.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible weeping or dripping at a joint or connection on the appliance
  • Water staining, corrosion or residue around a sealed face
  • Seals that have hardened, flattened, cracked or deformed with age and heat cycling
  • A seal disturbed or damaged while a component was removed for servicing
  • Repeated loss of pressure traced to a sealed joint

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the fitment list above
  • Check whether the boiler is an R2 or R3 variant, as both are covered by this kit
  • Identify which joint or connection is being serviced so the correct seals are used
  • Have the manufacturer's parts list to hand if the appliance is not listed here
