What it is

The Vaillant 0020266441 is an insulation kit supplied by Vaillant for use on Arotherm 5/5 air source heat pump units. It is the insulating component set that reduces heat loss and limits condensation on the relevant sections of the appliance. It is supplied as a kit rather than as individual pieces.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Insulation material is cracked, split or crumbling away from the pipework or component it covers
  • Insulation has become saturated, soft or visibly damp in service
  • Condensation or frost forming on surfaces that should be insulated
  • Sections of insulation missing or detached, leaving pipework or components exposed
  • Insulation has lost its shape or thickness and no longer sits correctly in position

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model number matches one of the fitments listed above before ordering
  • Inspect the existing insulation to establish which sections are affected and how much material is required
  • Check that no other components in the same area are damaged and need attention at the same time
