What it is
The Vaillant 0020266358 insulation kit is a manufacturer-supplied insulation set for the Arotherm 5/5 and Arotherm PLUS /6 air source heat pump ranges. It is used to insulate pipework and components within the unit, reducing heat loss and limiting condensation on cold surfaces. The kit is supplied as a set rather than as individual insulation pieces.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Insulation is crumbling, split or missing from pipework or internal components
- Condensation forming on uninsulated cold surfaces within the unit
- Visible frost or ice build-up on pipework during cold weather
- Increased heat loss from exposed pipe runs, reducing efficiency
- Insulation has become saturated, compressed or detached from its fixing
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model number against the fitment list above
- Check whether the existing insulation is damaged beyond reuse or simply displaced
- Verify the part number 0020266358 matches the item required for your unit
