What it is
The Vaillant 0020266357 is a sealing gasket used on Arotherm 5/5 and Arotherm PLUS /6 air-to-water heat pumps. It provides a fluid-tight seal at the joint it is fitted to, preventing weeping or air ingress at that connection. It is a service part intended for replacement when the existing seal has degraded.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping or a damp trace around the joint the gasket seals
- Mineral staining, scale or crusting at the sealing face
- The gasket has hardened, flattened or lost its compression set
- Cracking, splitting or deformation visible on inspection
- A drip that appears or worsens as the appliance reaches operating temperature
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and variant against the fit list above
- Identify the joint the gasket serves and check the existing seal for damage
- Verify the part number 0020266357 against the manufacturer's parts list for your unit
- Check whether any other seals at the same joint also need renewing
