What it is
The Vaillant 0020265275 is a gasket supplied by Vaillant for use within its heating appliance assemblies. It forms a compression seal at the joint where it is fitted, preventing water or gas from escaping past the mating faces. It is a service part intended for replacement when the existing seal has degraded.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping or a damp trace around the joint the gasket seals
- Water staining, scale or corrosion on the surrounding components
- A drip or slow leak that reappears after the joint is cleaned and dried
- The gasket feels hard, brittle or flattened rather than pliable
- The gasket is split, torn or has lifted out of its seating
Before you order
- Confirm the part number 0020265275 matches the number listed for your appliance
- Check the appliance model and, where applicable, the GC number against the manufacturer's parts list
- Identify the exact joint the gasket serves, as more than one gasket may be used on the same appliance
- Inspect the mating faces for scoring or corrosion before fitting, as a damaged face will not seal
