What it is

This is a Vaillant cable, supplied under part number 0020262683. It is a wiring component used within the listed Vaillant VU and VUW appliance families. The cable carries the electrical connection between the boiler's control components and the part it serves.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The appliance fails to power up or a connected component does not operate
  • Intermittent faults or error codes that clear when the wiring loom is disturbed
  • Visible damage to the cable sheath, such as chafing, scorching or rodent damage
  • Loose, corroded or heat-damaged terminals at either end of the cable
  • Continuity testing shows an open circuit or a reading outside the expected range

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the fitment list above
  • Check the existing cable's part number or markings where visible
  • Inspect the connectors at both ends for matching plug types and pin counts
