What it is
The Vaillant 0020234453 is an LPG burner assembly used in a range of Vaillant gas appliances. It carries and distributes the gas/air mixture at the burner head so combustion takes place correctly across the appliance's heat exchanger. This version is configured for LPG (propane) operation rather than natural gas.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Yellow, lifting or unstable flame at the burner instead of a steady blue flame
- Sooting or blackening around the burner head or heat exchanger
- Repeated ignition lockouts or failure to establish a flame
- Combustion readings outside the expected range for the appliance
- Visible corrosion, cracking or distortion of the burner surface
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model and GC number against the fit list above
- Check that your appliance is running on LPG, as this burner is the LPG version
- Verify the existing burner's part number matches 0020234453 before removal
- Confirm the quantity required for your appliance
