What it is

The Vaillant 0020223031 is a wiring harness supplied by Vaillant for use in the ecoTEC Exclusive appliance family. It forms part of the boiler's internal electrical loom, carrying connections between components within the appliance. It is a service part intended for fitment by a competent heating engineer.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler fails to fire or locks out with an electrical fault code
  • Intermittent operation or components cutting in and out unexpectedly
  • Visible damage to the loom, such as chafed, scorched or brittle insulation
  • Loose, corroded or heat-damaged connector terminals
  • Fault tracing points to a break in continuity within the harness

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the fitment list above
  • Check the existing harness for damage and confirm the fault lies with the loom rather than a connected component
  • Verify the part number 0020223031 matches the number on the component being replaced
  • Isolate the appliance from the electrical supply before any inspection or replacement work
