What it is
A Vaillant sealing gasket, part number 0020211085, supplied for use on Ecofit Pure, Ecofit Sustain and ecoTEC PLUS gas boilers. It forms a compression seal at the joint it is fitted to, preventing water or gas loss from the assembly. It is a service part intended for replacement whenever the joint is broken or the existing seal has degraded.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible water weeping or staining around the joint the gasket seals
- The gasket is hardened, flattened, cracked or perished
- Traces of gas at a gas-carrying joint, confirmed by a leak detector
- Corrosion or scale build-up on the mating faces where the gasket sits
- The joint has been disturbed during servicing and the old seal cannot be reused
Before you order
- Check the boiler model and GC number against the fit list above before ordering
- Confirm the part number 0020211085 matches the number shown on the existing gasket or in the manufacturer's parts list
- Check how many gaskets the joint requires, as some assemblies use more than one
- Inspect the mating faces for pitting or damage, as a new gasket will not seal against a distorted face

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
